DEVELOPER

Working closely with Solutions Developers and Project Managers you will design, specify and implement technical solutions to meet specific business requirements.

You will analyse customer requirements and develop appropriate solutions and build, test, deliver and document a solution, whilst always ensuring the integrity of a customer’s platform remains the highest priority.

You will be responsible for business and systems analysis and documentation and the development and delivery of testing strategies along with the design and execution of data migration strategies. In addition, you will produce design, system, user and procedural documentation and provide system training to both internal and external clients.
You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and 365 Business Central, both client end use and programming and experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and 365 Business Central clients from v5.0 to the current version.

You will also have a thorough understanding of database structures, excellent knowledge and experience of writing code and good understanding of business logic.

In addition, you will be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills and be able to communicate at all levels.

FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

Working closely with Solution Specialists, Fulfilment Managers and project teams, you will support both full project lifecycles in addition to ongoing customer requirements,... 

...from capture and concept, through to full requirement delivery and acceptance. You will analyse, breakdown and troubleshoot customer’s practices and interpret their requirements, translating that information into a clear functional process. You will define, explain, propose and conceptualise solutions, both technically to a development team, and in a user-friendly proposal to the customer.

You will also be responsible for workshop planning and document control and will be customer facing and responsible for delivering and training on a solution.

You will have strong demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft D365 Business Central/NAV, both client end use as well as software development theories. Furthermore, you will have excellent experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics technologies and the wider Microsoft ‘estate’, as well as O365. You will also have operational industry experience, with knowledge of supply chain, warehousing and/or auctions being desirable.

You will need good interpersonal skills and strong discussion, participation and presentation skills and the ability to control and direct a conversation. In addition, you will need to have excellent time management and time keeping skills and be self-motivated and self-managing.

The main purpose of this role is to manage, co-ordinate and mentor a team of development resources and provide technical expertise across the company.

You will work closely with fulfilment teams to schedule technical resources for projects and provide technical expertise to project teams and employees as required. You will lead and manage research & development projects as required and provide technical assistance to presales, strategic and existing customer sales processes.

You will have exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, both client end use and programming and experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV from v5.0 to the latest Business Central releases.

You will also have demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives and excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style, with the ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the Company and look at situations from several points of view.
